I just received word from one of my contacts at Dish Network that the First NBA-HD Game to air on Dish Network this year will be on Tuesday December 9th 10:30-1:00 AM - New York Knicks at Los Angeles Lakers.

This will air on the HD Events Channel and will only be available to those that Subscribe to the NBA Package, The Regional Sports Package or the Everything Pack.

Which sat is the HD events channel on? I dont see it listed

Its on the 61.5 and 148 satellites only.

Any info on if the NBA channel will eventually go to 110? I have no plans to install a second dish right now (HOA probably wouldn't be too happy with that, nor would I really)...I can get CBS OTA, don't have Showtime, so I would only be missing out on HBOHD and PPV...
