I'm thinking of doing the same when my contract is up. How is the DVR and interface? I remember it being very slow when I had Cablevision about 4 years ago.
I'd say picture quality is great (not as good as D* but good). Note I use a roamio TiVo and mini.

cablevision dvr is the nightmare of all time , and iv had people in and out for freezes etc - cant resolve

I am a former D subscriber.But I had to cancel when I moved.If I had LOS I would have went back to DirecTv in a second.
I am pleasantly surprised.I really like Cablevision (Optimum). I'm going to be sticking with them I think.Plus I got a nice
discount when I moved again within their area.
