Katie Couric's Talk Show Teetering on the Verge of Cancellation

Soft ratings, a huge budget and "disdain" for her female audience — Q Scores report only 10 percent of women view Couric favorably — have the host's Disney/ABC talk show in jeopardy as a renewal decision nears.

Hmmm.... would ABC give her up so the Today show could sooop in and have Katie, Matt & Al again?

Problem is, at the 3:00pm, kids are getting home, so televisions are switching to Phineas & Ferb or other such shows. plus the demo of women that watch at that time want something like Maury or Springer.

Also men that get home at that hour, if they want a newsy show, they switch to Fox, CNN, or local news.

Wrong type of show for that time of day.

Here she goes up against Rachel Ray, The Talk and The Peoples Court at the 2 pm locally hour, if I have the TV on it's on Rachel Ray if on the networks or like you say ESPN etc ...
