I had to drop by Sam's the other day...hadn't been in that place in over a year. I took a look at the TV section to see what was new and they had a 98 inch model for sale....can't remember the brand or price as I just wanted to get what I came for and get out. The box was of course HUGE and I couldn't help but wonder just how big these things are going to get. Just getting one of those suckers home would be a chore, especially with these short bed pickups they are selling these days.

115" TV's are pretty common now if you don't mind spending about $30K on the high quality name brands. Something like a Hisense 116" is only about $10K though. LOL There is a Samsung 114" MICRO LED Smart TV that runs $150K if you have money to burn.

I actually think youre at the peak, and even then its only niche uses.

Alot of younger people dont even have TVs and watch via computer and their phones.

My 36 year old son has a 98" TV ( gave it to him when I downsized ) in his living room, still watches most content via his ipad or at his desk via his computer monitor.

Got to admit, the Wife and daughter watch our 75 in but I tend to watch YT or Daily Wire on my laptop. I find myself struggling more and more when people ask me questions about how to do this or that with Dish because I simply don't watch it anymore.
I mentioned that huge TV to my Wife this morning and her eyes twinkled......be careful what you mention to your Wife.

The 40 inch TV I had outside in what was my Hot Tub house died after being out there for 14 years, so I went to buy another one and it was hard to find a TV that small to replace it. It had to be that size as its hanging over a sliding glass door and anything bigger would not fixed. (Now while I say its outside, its in a building that is screened in on three sides and is on a solid non screened in wall where there is a sliding door to go into my studio.)

A bigger TV would not fit there, or you would hit your head on the TV going in the door.

My wife was surprised that there were h ardly any TV's that size and thinks my 85 inch is too big. Looking at the TVs being shown now, soon 85" will be considered small.

You may be forced to buy a Monitor instead of a TV, they still come smaller sizes

The local Walmart has a rather big selection with sizes starting at 32 in.

32 in!! I can still remember when I bought a 32 in tube type TV...I really thought I was in high cotton.

I ended up buying

pn 43 r851 26u

Roku TV / Pioneer.

42" or 43", depending on where you read. UHD. Available at Best Buy and elsewhere.
