:) Whodda thunkit 2 years ago, this is the grid for the HD channels (excluding Voom) that I receive:

Hours-of-HD next week for your default stations (rounded to the nearest hour).

134 141 142 141 144 145 138 985

Crap, the formatting didn't hold, but the last number, 985 is the TOTAL hours for THIS week alone. Pretty impressive. :yes

TNTHD is a travesty, when the do something in HD it's nice... things like the Grid and Salem's Lot, I thought where going to help define TNT along with NBA games in HD. It looks to me for fall 2004 and most of 2005 TNTHD will continue to be underdeveloped Stretch-O-Vision... why? THey air lots of Charmed, X-Files, and Angel reruns, but all in Stretcho I don't see them converting that anytime soon. ANd 1 out 5 movies is not really HD... TNTHD and BravoHD right now are like these little infants, they look so cute, and could grow up someday into an adult... it's getting past the pooping, barfing, and useless stage that's taking too long.

When I omit ESPNHD, TNTHD, BravoHD, UPN & Fox to give me a more accurate number of hours, it still totals 551 excluding Voom. Throw in the Voom 21 exclusives and that makes the total count: 4079 hours of HD programming for the WEEK.

Now where's the idiot who stated there was no HD programming out there?

That is definately a lot of hours, still lots of looped content out there.. hopefully more HD subs will mean less looping. Sorry I'm pooping on your thread, it's impressive the numbers.. I should do a VAVAVOOM study.

Ok HBO HD airs about 10 hours of HD content 10 hours of SD content and 4 hours of ads right now on my HD channel this week.

Showtime HD and HDW don't air HD except for 2 times a week according to the PG.

TMC airs Voom exclusives and Starz movies again, so they don't count.

Starz HD airs 12 hours of HD movies and 12 hours of High Resolution Movies.

Encore Airs 24 hours of HD movies, unless it's a Batman marathon, or a handful of other movies then that gets chopped in half, because they aren't HD movies at all !!

Oh well when these morons do air true HD content it is nice.
