Lease vs. Own

I'm sure this has been hashed out before, but what is the pros/cons of leasing a Vip622 from Dish vs. buying one from Sadoun? How about cost difference in programming? Thanks.

there really is no benefit to own anymore.

If you're gonna dish'n it up for a 622, it would make sense to add it to a receiver you already have because you're gonna get charged $6 lease fee

Either way you can't go wrong with the Vip622 DVR receiver. It is the only MPEG4 DVR on the market today that allows you to record HDV programming on the hd. I have one at home and my kids just love it. They record all their favorite shows and transfer some of it to their 7" Pocket Dish that they take with them on trips and to the backyard.

With buying, there is no contract commitment since you own the equipment.
