Lemme get this straight. HD gold/platinum

Gold costs $10/mo for 38 channels, equating to about .26cents per channel. Platinum costs $10/mo for 7 channels equating to about $1.42 per channel. Does anyone else see a problem with that? I can see charging $4.99 like DTV's extra pack, but $10?

I'd like this gold / platinum thing to be worked out by the time Feb 09 rolls around and they force me off of Absolute. This platinum add-on is stupid. HD needs to be the standard and not a bunch of add-on packages.

If Dish wants something to charge extra for they need to imitate Dell and set up Gold Support where if you pay an extra monthly fee, you get access to US customer support and starting at the second tier, not the first tier.
