Length of time to reply to post in Prime Time TV forums

Can the length of time you can reply to a post in the prime time TV forums be increased?

Due to the summer rerun season, lots of the TV threads don't get posts, but once Fall hits, people start adding replys. Unfortunately you can't before it's been x number of days since the last reply. Which sucks, as sometimes your posting about the season ending cliff hanger, and would be easier to just reply in the current thread instead of making a new one and summarizing what has already been said.

Can't you just check the box that says "Yeah, I know this is old, but I want to post anyway" at the bottom of the reply box?

okay, I checked and there is. That's what happens when you try to post before the 2nd cup of coffee.
