Live TV On Ipad.

"EyeTV Mobile is a DVB-T TV tuner"

Doesn't look like it's an ATSC tuner, so it might not work in the US.

Considering the reception quality of little portable TV sets around here,
(prime Los Angeles suburbs)
i would look to other entertainment solutions.

But it certainly IS a cute toy! :)

You would think DISH or Directv would come up with the technology to allow an iPad or an Android tablet to become a TV. The technology is already there.

The Slingbox is awfully close on either platform but the best integration is clearly the DISH implementations. What constitutes a "TV" and why would you want to turn your tablet into one?

I realize that now, more than ever, people are trying to figure out what to do with their tablets, but live TV probably isn't the must-have app.

Those who know what they are doing probably aren't watching live TV.

I can't see wasting the bandwidth for extended viewing.
Nor the battery life. :)

But there are two kinds of people:
- I want to see that show I recorded last night
- I want to channel surf and see what's on now (or watch news)

I'm in the first category, so i'll be loading up with a movie or TV episode, to watch while waiting for new tires or an oil change. ;)

The OP didn't really say why or what he wanted to see, so it's hard to suggest a solution.
