Man Arrested For Ripping Off DISH Customers.

Sad thing is, the perp sounds like he might have been a good salesman if he indeed "sold" the "service" to (as many as) 45 folks at $900 a pop. I wonder what the supposed upgrades were? You'd think the victims would have smelled a rat as soon as those upgrades did not appear, long before the past due notices came.

Scams like these happen in large part because there was a time when few would do such a thing, and the older folks who remember those times and who are generally the victims now are apparently still prone to placing trust and doing business with a smile and a handshake. Those days are swiftly ending...which is a good thing for the wrong reasons...

I can't understand why they work so hard to rip off people either... He could earn more (and not get arrested) if he would have just filed for unemployment.

Unemp is not much more than $300 per week.
