My DVR 1100C system is scheduled for delivery Friday. It appears that my Dish antenna is in my best location as there is also a notch in the tree line at Glorystar angle. I am wondering with the 90cm dish would the current eave mount location be best or a mast just away from the house. I have some waterpipe which seems to be the right diameter, but would have to cut it to length and dig the hole, etc.

If I remember right, you are getting the GEOSATpro 39" --- ? if so, you can probaly remove the Dish ant and install the new one. I would also add the mast braces as you do need the stability. Otherwise, remove the Dish and its mount and replace with the whole new system. That would be easier than planting a new pole -- as long as servicing and adjusting the system on the roof is not a problem.
