i have dish thru embarq. a while back i called about the penny max deal. the lady said it was only for new customers and that i could not get this deal. are there any embarq people that have run into this. thanks.

I have had Dish for quite a few years (nothing to do with Embarq) and I qualified for this deal. It might have something to do with Embarq. That may be the cause of the trouble.

Yep, I bundled through AT&T. Couldn't get the deal. Unbundled just recently and just signed up for penny Cinemax today.

The above posters are correct. Unfortunately the Cinemax for a penny is not available if you are bundled through Embarq. We used to offer it to new customer's that had autopay with us, but that offer expired a few months back. You could debundle and get the promotion through dish however. I hope this information helps.
