Media share issues-HR24-500

Maybe this is a common issue.

I have had just about all Direc HD dvrs. Since they added media share
It seems unstable.

With my HR24 Im running the media share. It is connected to the internet through a router. Main unit is Uverse-gateway.

Problem is when I play music it constantly skips? Im accessing my computer music through the media share.

Ive tried reseting it. Still same skipping music.

My guess is this is still not perfected on these units(direc tv units)

Any ideas for a fix?

Directv told me that this on their list of items to be fixed. At least they're aware of the issue but some have said that this issue has been there since day one for this model!

Mine has had video issues since day 1, but the audio skipping is more recent. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
