Message light on front of 721 is on, no message

I just got a new software (L172HABD-N) download over the weekend and now the red message light on the front of the 721 is on but no message appears in the the message center section of the menu. Anyone knows whats going on and how I can shut it off. I also checked the PVR list to see if it had an info video but did not find any.

Do a powerbutton reboot- hold down the power button for 8 to 10 seconds till you see the receiver reboot. Or unplug the receiver and then replug it in and it will reboot. This is needed after a software update on the 721 sometimes. I know it is needed on a 921 for sure.

Sounds like you have a software update that was not installed (or completed) just do the above power button reboot and after its done you will no longer have a message.
