Microsoft dramatically cuts upgrade pricing on Windows 8 upgrade

Hey folks, Microsoft OSs are like Star Trek movies.... Every other one sucks....

ST: TMP was excellent. I thought it was a very thoughtful film.
ST II: TWoK was a masterpiece.
ST III was good. Not great, but it was good.
ST IV was good. It was more of a lighthearted film.
ST V - I wish we could pretend this never happened. Unfortunately canon doesn't work that way.
ST VI - Amazing.
ST VII: Generations - Great film. A nice passing of the torch.
ST VIII: First Contact - also a masterpiece.
ST IX: Insurrection - Not bad at all, but felt like a feature length episode.
ST X: Nemesis - I liked it. The whole "nature vs. nurture" thing felt a bit forced, but it was a solid film.
ST XI - Very excellent. Bringing in another parallel universe in this way worked out well. If CBS and Paramount ever settle their differences, we may even see some crossover between the alternate timeline and the prime universe, the same way we saw with the Mirror Universe. (Any future TV series will be set in the prime universe due to licensing agreements.)

I will install Windows 8 from my Technet subscription. Play around to see what it is all about.

The upgrades are cheap enough that I will probably buy some and then not install them until the service pack comes out and puts back in the start button...
