Minneapolis locals in Canada??

I live in Manitoba and currently have the Fargo North Dakota locals and would like to switch to Mpls. Does anyone know which sat and transponder have the Mpls. stations? Wondered if I would get a half decent signal.

the spotbeam only covers most of MN but not the NW area (by the NoDak border)

I know that people in grand forks, can and do recieve the mpls locals.... and also their have been people that i have upgraded up in Hallock Mn that have mpsl locals also

I've seen the map of the beams but I'd still like to know which sat and transponder. Fargo has no HD channels.

What? Does that mean I can get Minneapolis local HD in Duluth?

I've been holding off on the HR20 because I thought I couldn't get it local HD. I know I couldn't get FSN HD.

I am missing something or reading this wrong?

You have to have your "service address" be in the mpls DMA

I can get my service address changed to Mpls. but the receiver will still be in Canada. But I'd still like to know which sat and transponder????

I believe the MPEG4 Spotbeam footprints for HDLIL are much smaller than the SDLIL footprints.
