First of all, my set-up includes (2) 301s, 508, (2) 811s, dish 500, dish 300 & 2 dp34s. Last week, I noticed that after doing a check-switch on my 301, that (on the polarity) only the ODD transponders came back up on 119 & 110. 61.5 was ALL. Doing a check-switch on my 508: same problem. BUT when my 811 goes through a check-switch: all is fine. I get all transponders on all sats. Can someone help me with any information on this? Thanks.

Funny you mention this. I am having a similar problem with the a 301. I have a Vip 211, an 811 and several 6000s, but a 301 in a bedroom that doesn't get much use. All are using legacy lnbs on a SW64 into a 21 for 4 satellite positions (119/110/148/129).

I noticed about 10 days ago, I had lost several (not all) of the local channels on the STB. A rehit from E* didn't fix it. Unplug and plugging it in solved it for a little while. Then I got a "detected switch problem" and lost some of the locals again. The check switch shows that 110 Even was not present.

So I moved the 301 to the main setup and one by one went through the feeds to the other STBs - all of which are working fine. Same issue on every feed line - so its not the Switch or RG6 as its only a problem with the 301.

Sooooo.......I had another one out in the garage. Call Dish. Switch it out. Same issue - 301 only.

Soooo.....I call Dish and they send me a new 301. Plug it in, call Dish, move it over and same issue.

No issues with multiple 6000s, 811s or ViP 211s - but now 3 301s.

What's up with these units?

I had the same problem with a 501 but not with my 522. I even moved the 501 into the room that the 522 was in and hooked it to that cable. Dish sent me anther 501 and it had the same problem. They sent someone out to my house and changed out the LNB and now no more problems...

Several others have had their LNBs replaced because of this.

are the 301's and 508 on the same DP34 switch as the 811's? or do you know... my first guess would be a bad switch.
