I am in Florida for the winter and not able to get my local channels from home..Indiana. Do I need put my Florida zip code in to get my locals from back home....they now come up blank. Get all the other channels I subscribe to. Thanks.

What satellite service do you have? DirecTV DishNetwork......
Your locals may be on a spot beam so will not be available when you travel out of state.

Indianapolis local channels are on spot beams on both DirecTV and Dish Network. There is no way you can receive Indianapolis locals in Florida. The signals just aren't there.

see ya

Now I know, thanks for the help re missing locals. Lost in Fl.

Just tell them you moved and you installed everything yourself and they will cut the locals that you are supposed to get in FL on. It doesn't help you out any on getting news from your hometown in Indiana but its better than nothing I guess.

Any New FIOS TV Reports?

Do I need an sw21 switch to combine two LNbf
