I would appreciate assistance with connecting the following:

* 6' Sadoun C-band dish with Ortho setup,2 Norsat LNB's, GBox
* 1.2M GeoSatpro KU Dish, Invacom QPH-031 (only need linear side of LNBF),
DG-380 Motor,
* 4x8 WNC-SMA-48 switch (only the 13V 22KHZ off LNB port modded for 18v)
* (1) AZbox - living room
* (1) Openbox - bedroom

The AZBox should control the DG-380 motor, but want both STB's to be able to view both C & Ku

I know the C-Band LNB's will go into the left side of the switch which are now both 18V, but I have no idea how to connect the DG-380 motor and Invacom LNBF. That is why I have not modded the other 13v port on the switch.

I have been looking at posts all day and don't see one with the same config.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated, thank you!

The following should work:

Azbox --> DG-380 --> SWC output #1
Openbox --> SWC output #2

The inputs of the switch should be wired like this:

C-band Norsat #1 --> 18V horizontal input
C-band Norsat #2 --> 13V vertical input (but should be modified for 18V)

QPH-031 linear output #1 --> 18V/22kHz horizontal input
QPH-031 linear output #2 --> 13V/22kHz veritical input

You should NOT modify the 22kHz portion of the switch for 18V on the 13V input. The Invacom LNBF still needs 13V to select the vertical polarities.

Your setup is almost identical to mine. I use a DG-380 to move my ku dish with my Azbox and then just use the remote control on the GBox to control my C-band dish (orbital locations have been programmed into the memory of the GBox).

Good luck!

Thank you so much for responding!
I am attaching a proposed switch diagram for comment.

Remove the diseqc switch from the diagram. Generally, diseqc switches don't handle the motor current well.

Go from Azbox straight to the DG380 motor, then from DG380 motor to multiswitch.

Select from C-band (22kHz off) or Ku-band(22kHz on) in antenna setup for Azbox.

On a different setup I have a diseqc before a DG-380 motor with absolutely no issues at all.
The reason I have the diseqc switch in the diagram is to provide a different path for the cband signal and not degrade it by running it through a motor.
