Motor/Receiver Reset

My SG2100 in combination with a Coolsat 5000 has been acting funny lately.I can use Diseqc 1.2 to set up a satellite and a day or two latter if I return to the satellite I have to readjust again.
My question is if resetting my motor and receiver will help , which one should I reset first or does it matter?

Its usually not the motor, but I would start there, motor to your TRUE south first then reset!

More often than not its a receiver issue!

I have reset my Moteck SG2100 around 4 times in the last 4 years and each time it was the receiver that was messing up!

I kinda thought it might be the receiver as sometimes also when moving window on the screen indicating the motor is moving may freeze.
I have that 1.2 M dish on that motor and was wondering if it taking a toll.
