Motorola QIP-6416 - default locals to HD?

I have a Motorola QIP-6416 DVR and wondered is there a way to make it default to the HD version when viewing local channels? I liked the fact when I had Dish that I could view a local channel by pressing a single digit and the HD version would show. Now I have to browse to the 5xx channel number equivalent.
