I have a coolsat 7000 that I have used in the USA for a few years. I have now moved to the mid east and want to find an easy way to enter in all the new satellites that are viewable from the mid-east.
Any suggestions?

start renaming them :)

otherwise hit up goaliebob99. He was in Iraq and can tell you which sats to look for

Start by loading these 2 birds for english speaking FTA are Arabsat 26east or Nilesat 7west. Both carry the same channels. Just depends on your sky view, if you can see both Arabsat has the stronger signal. max 75-90cm dish & a must Universal LNB. Receivers, dishes and LNBs are cheap in the Mid east.

FTA channels English

MBC2 (Films 24 hrs)
MBC3 (Childrens mainly English)
MBC4 (US series)
MBC Action (Films and US series)
MBC Max (Films 24 hrs)
MBC Persia (Films 24 hrs)
Fox Movies (films 2ehrs)
Fox Series (Mainly US series)
Dubai One (General entertainment)
Dubai Sport 1 (Horse, camel and Car racing)
Dubai Sport2
Dubai Sport3
Kuwait2 (mainly US series after 8pm
Kuwait Sport (Sometimes in Engilsh)
Bahrain TV 55 ( some US series)
Al Jazeera sport1 Sometimes in Enlish

news Channels in English:

BBC World
Press tv
France 24
Al Jazeera news
CNN International (from Eurobird2 which is at 25.5east same alignment as 26)
Euronews


If you speak any other languages there are many FTA channels about

Familiar Christian Channels are on ABS1 at 75east
