"Moving" and land based phone line??

Just a quick few question. Has anyone ran into a problem with "moving" and keeping your daul room receivers plugged into a land based phone line? Won't they find out your equipment isn't where you claim it is? I'm thinking about "moving" to the Philly area but I'm worried about the phone line charge,and getting caught because of having the phone line plugged in. Any thoughts?

They don't care. There are plenty of stories around here of people moving with the same phone line.

then there's people like me who have had the same number through three physical moves. Gotta love Vonage!!
