I currently have two receivers. We are moving, but I am moving about two months before my wife moves.

If I did a Dish Mover, but moved just one receiver at first, what would happen to the programming on the receiver at the old house about 1,000 miles away?

you would need both receivers at the new location for them to do the dish mover

when you move your locals and RSN will ch8ange

Why/how would the programming (locals and RSN) be affected at the old house if the dish and receiver did not move? It seems that receiver at the new location would get the locals for that area and the receiver at the old house would still get the locals for that area since it never moved.

Does Dish send a specialized code to every receiver to ensure it receives the locals for the address of record or does the receiver just receive what is local for that area as long as locals are subscribed to?
