We moved our Tivo receiver to a room downstairs in our apartment only to find that the coax connector in the room is not connected to the dish. The coax connecter in the neighboring room does have a dish connect. I supposed I can just punch it through on the other side, but before I do this I want some advice...

Is there anyway to get an installer out to do this for a relatively low fee? Since I have a Tivo box I am going to need two lines from this dish. At this point, I can get one, but I am going to have to run lines across the room. I see people referring to "moving" as an option. Would this be the best way to go?

If I do decide to run the single cable from the neighboring room, is there anyway to turn it into two lines for the Tivo receiver? Sorry, I am new to all of this and the whole installation was utterly perplexing. Thanks for the help.

Contact the company you bought it from they will have the most interest in satisfying you. No you can't make two input lines out of one.
