I have one of the newer dishs that has 4 lines coming from the dish. How would it work if I wanted to add a second DVR in my house. I currently have one DVR and two receivers in three different rooms. I was thinking of upgrading one of those receivers to a DVR...but that would put me at 5 lines...how does it work?

you would need a 4x8 or 5x8 multi switch... all 4 lines from the dish run into the switch, then there are 8 outputs on the switch for up to 8 coax runs/tuners... you would ahve 3 spare.

5x8 includes an input for an OTA antenna... handy if you have HD.
