my.dish.com doesn't work with VPN

I use an OpenVPN connection on my router that goes through a server in Chicago. Whenever I'm connected to VPN, my.dish.com won't work and I can't get account info using the settings menu on the hopper. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a reason this change was made? A few months ago it worked fine with VPN on.

Have you tried unplugging the dish box for a couple minutes? Maybe you have an IP conflict and that would resolve it
