I wanted to know if anyone on the forum uses Mythtv for watching FTA - specifically sports feeds. I have not had much luck using. My frontend seems to crash on many different types of feeds. Has anyone been able to resolve these issues?

You don't say which card or distribution you are using. Make sure you have the lastest V4L drivers installed.

I'm using 10.04 ubuntu and I have both the Prof 7500 and a Twinhan 102G. I have been playing most streams using dvbstream using VLC to play it. This seems to work for most all streams, but it would be nice to use mythtv some how. I wish VLC could be used as the internal player for LIVETV in myth.
