Name a good movie with a bad sequel/sequels...

I'm not counting the 2021 remake as a sequel because I actually found it much better than the original but I think the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie was great but it had a horrible sequel (and yes I know that a remake is not a sequel, but some people are weird that way). Another movie I loved that had horrible sequels was Highlander.

I think my grammar was poor here so I'm going to clarify. I'm saying that the 2021 remake was superior to the 1995 Mortal Kombat movie, but the 1995 movie was still awesome but its 1997 sequel "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation" was downright awful!
