The channel has been off the air for more than an hour now.
The web feed is all messed up too... :(

NASA was great earlier

The coverage of the launch was great earlier...not HD, but very free. E* has a "technical difficulties" card up in place of the NASA feed.

Bad timing. Rather it be the TV feed than the shuttle though!!

yeah I saw it screwig up so I switch to FNC to watch them go crazy over the missles. :D

D* has a Notice up:

No need to call us -
We are aware that this TV station is temporarily unavailable...
We'll have this channel back as quickly as possible
Sorry for the interruption

The channel worked just fine all day long. It's just the past hour or two that they are having problems.
That's unfortunate. There supposed to be a press conference coming soon. Hope CSPAN will pick it up...

Ok, the web feed is getting better now, so I think the satellite channel will be restored soon too.

Just so you all know, it was indicated in the mission commentary that there were some severe thunderstorms yesterday at NASA TV's uplink site. There might be more today. The east coast has been getting pounded lately.

... never realized there were so many people besides myself that watched the NASA channel as well. I check it out pretty much daily when the shuttle is up. Only once in a while any other time.
