Does anybody else LOVE the NASA UHD 4K channel on Roku? I am addicted to it.

My C-band dish isn't big enough to pull it in on my satellite receiver, but the Roku feed looks awesome. If you haven't checked it out, you should :)

I love the looks of it, though I haven't heard much commentary. But I haven't watched every program yet.

I can't tell if there is even a program schedule (yet). The current programming consists of everything from videos of shuttle launch prep to Mars photos to outer space shots.

Has anyone experienced buffering issues with the NASA UHD channel on Roku? The NASA website says 13mbps is needed for the stream; my download speed is 50. The frequent buffering is almost insufferable.

I didn't when I bought my first Roku TV, but subsequently I do. I think my ISP (Cox) decided to reduce my bandwidth to 15Mbps. :( It used to be 30!

It should technically still work with 15mbps, as NASA claims you only need 13mbps to stream. So you're saying the buffering is happening to you as well?

Yes it is occasionally happening to me as well. I am certain my bandwidth goes down below 15 sometimes. How yours could drop from 50 down below 13, I do not know.

Well, I don't think it is dropping below 13; I think it's something wrong with the app. I've emailed NASA TV about it.

App hasn't worked for months on my Roku 4K. App begins to load, displays the Accedo splash screen, then fades bake to the Roku home screen. Is anybody else able to load it?

Edit: looks like I can answer my own question:
