NBC Now Streaming LIVE

Today NBC started streaming live.

What is cool is I went to http://www.nbc.com/live and within seconds I was watching my local NBC station and it was playing without me logging in.

I did log in using my DISH login after. But I thought it was cool I could see my local NBC without doing anything.

I get "Sorry, the live stream for your local NBC channel is unavailable".

I get the same thing. Would be nice if all local markets streamed online as that is the waive of the future.

No streaming here in the MSP DMA either. I tried some other markets and instantly got the provider sign in.

How do you change markets? I did not see that option when going to the link. I figured it went by IP address.

This is only available in the NBC O&O markets for now. You should get 45 minutes (per day?) of free viewing before you have to prove you get NBC through a cable or satellite service.

Yeah, I get the Sorry Msg. too. Y'know, CBC, CTV and Global Canada don't do this. Don't know why they don't.
