I am going to keep posting the Versus games, even though I am a DirecTV subscriber. The #2 team in the nation won't be on DirecTV this weekend. I would go over to hornfans.com for a look at their football board, but I don't have the heart.

The Big 12 needs to get its sh*t together on the football contract. Three games this weekend with ranked teams on PPV.

So only 1 national primetime game this weekend due to the Nascar race I assume? Disappointing me, after I was spoiled last weekend :D

OK, so who is going to the 'Shoe Saturday night?

Sandra

Thought about it, but I'm just staying home and having people over. The inflatable Brutus the Buckeye will be staked in the yard while games of corn-hole on the official OSU Buckeyes boards will be going on outside. I'm also preparing a clambake for dinner.

After the game, it's straight to bed, as I'm heading downtown for the Browns game, starting with a pre-game tailgate bright and early on Sunday morning.....

Oh what a weekend this will be!!!

Cornhole hasn't made it to Jersey yet??

Basically, it's a game that originated with college kids and is now played at tailgates and backyards all over now. IMO, it's jumped the shark. I used to play in college and the game wasn't that well known. Now, everyone's playing it, including old people!

The game consists of 2 elevated boards with a hole in the middle. The boards are separated 33 feet apart. There are two teams with 2 players on each team. Each player takes turns throwing the bag filled with cork kernels at the board. The objective is to either land the bag on the board or get it in the hole. You get points based on this.

Nowadays, the big thing is to get your boards personalized with custom paint jobs. About 5 years ago, the wife got me some corn hole boards with a OSU Buckeyes based theme.

The game sounds familiar, although the name didn't. Never played it, though.

Looks like Washers/Ring Toss. where you have the board with the hole, but use a big washer instead.
