Hi,
I hope I'm posting this in the right place. We just moved into a new place and transfered our existing Dish service. The only existing coax outlet was on one side of the fireplace from our entertainment center, so the installer ran the cable over the fireplace mantle and it looks awful. How hard is it to install a new outlet? Do Dish installers even do that or do I need to find a qualified person here in LA.
Thanks in advance!

The Dish installers usually are very low paid, just get it working kinda of guys.

There are more professional installers out there who work with both Satellite companies and they are the ones who know how to "do it right". So you might want to call around and see if you can find someone on your own. As far as Dish is concerned, you got "free installation" and as long as your TV is working, then it was a successful installation.

Do you have a basement with an open ceiling? If so, it would probably be very easy for you or someone with a little experience to put in a new jack.
