Hi,

I need assistance to configure my LNBF in my Digiwave Diamond Receiver, it should be very similar to the Coolsat 4000 Pro.

I have a Digiwave Diamond Receiver and a Digiwave Standard KU LNBF Single Linear 780.

Which settings I have to enter in the Digiwave Diamond Receiver for this particular LNBF?

Here are the info I have from my local vendor :

LOW BAND HIGH BAND
INPUT FREQUENCY RANGE 10.70~11.70 GHz 11.70~12.20 GHz
REFLECTOR TYPE OFFSET
F/D RATIO 0.5~0.7
CROSS POL. ISOLATION 20dB (min.)
NOISE FIGURE 0.5 dB or better
(typ.)
CONVERSION GAIN 55 dB (typical)
GAIN FLATNESS 0.5 dB / 27 MHz
OUTPUT FREQUENCY 950 ~ 1950 MHz 1100 ~ 2150 MHz
L.O. FREQUENCY 9.75 GHz 10.60 GHz
L.O. PHASE NOISE -55 dBc / Hz ( @ 1KHz )
-80 dBc / Hz ( @ 10KHz )
-100 dBc / Hz ( @ 100KHz )
OUTPUT POWER LEVEL (AT 1 dB GAIN COMPRESSION) 0 dBm
IMAGE REJECTION 45 dB (min.)
OUTPUT VSWR 2.5 : 1 (MAX.)
OUTPUT CONNECTOR 75 Ohm F TYPE FEMALE
DC CURRENT CONSUMPTION 130 mA
OPERATING VOLTAGE (1) 11.5 ~ 14.0 V = VERTICAL POLARIZATION
(2) 16.0 ~ 19.0 V = HORIZONTAL POLARIZATION
(3) Continuous 22KHz 4KHz
HIGH BAND SELECTION
OPERATING TEMPERATURE -40 ~ +60

Whay I see on the LNBF is :

Standard KU LNBF Digital Ready DG780
RF: 11.70 / 12.20 GHz
IF: 950 / 1450 GHz
LO: 10.750
Gain: 55 dB
Noise Figure 0.5dB

Also I have a Fortec Start 33 inch Dish and a SG2100 Motor, can you validate if the following are also fine:
My Latitude is 45.5 N and my Longitude is 73.8 W (Laval, Quebec, Canada)
I have set the Elevation Angle of the motor to 45 degree and figured out in the
SG2100 user manual that the Declinaison Angle of the dish to be 23.2 degree.

I have targetted the SBS6 satellite at 74 W to be my reference satellite.

Thank you

I would read the review of the Coolsat in the review section. That has a lot of answers :)

but here is what the install screen should look like (unless you have a DiSEqc, that would be set to "OFF"

The LNB is a standard one

For SBS6, you might have to add a satellite. Use frequency 11742 H 6616 (manual scan entry)

Hi,

Thanks a million !!!

I will give it a try tonight.

Do you know, if 16 Degree Clockwise is the Deviation that I have to Add to get my True South?

thanks

Reg

Hi,

So If I'm right, it should be TP1 of SBS6, 11741 H 6616, ONN - Ohio News Network

Thanks

Regi
