We are with Sky Angel so techincaly we are Dish customers. I called to try for the $49.99 Dish DVR 200 channel package and was told that because I have Sky Angel I have to pay to "upgrade" to Dish DVR which is $50 or so. Then I was told I had to pay $169 for the new DVR receiver activation (and get $100 credit on our bill), plus a $5 per month charge for having the receiver. All together it would be a ton for the first month. The package is just $49.99 a month. He said installation is free. Does this sound right?
