need info on 411/211

Hi,

I've been away from the forum since Voom went under but have reactivated my Dish account for just the HD package and the Voom 10.

Still using a 6000 but now have new pj with hdmi and would like to get a new receiver with hdmi output. I do not want a dvr, however.

Where can I find out more about these new or soon-to-be-released receivers. I assume that one or both offer hdmi outputs.

Does it come with HDMI to DVI cable? I believe they supplied it with 942.

For some reason the 211/411's don't come with any type of HD compatible cable (DVI/HDMI/component/RGB). It don't make any sense to me. You would think they would at least put a component cable in there.

The 211 has an intriguing ethernet port on the back panel.

I would definitely go for it over the 411.

The 211 and 311 will not be out until the 15th. Also the 411 will eventuall be discontinued in favor of the 211. Dish will sell the 411s until the supply is depleated.

oh sure, phase out the 411 when it hasn't even made it to market yet!!!!!

It looks like the 211/411 is IR only since the UHF antenna port is missing, and the second set of audio outputs is missing. I better jump on the 811 while I can. :
