Need Input On Signal Readings From Slimline 5 ???

I could use some help troubleshooting the signals I'm receiving on my slimline 5 lnb dish. I first installed everything a couple of months ago and didn't have any problems. Over the past week I've started receiving a bunch of signal fade on the HD channels. We had some heavy wind / rain and I figured the dish might need readjusted. I checked the signals and noticed I wasn't getting anything on 110 and 119. When I installed the dish a couple of months ago I got them, and I believe the 99 and 103 was in the low 60's-70's. Not great, but good enough considering I have a bunch of large trees I'm pointing through. The only thing I can think of is some of those large trees could have blossomed and might be blocking the signals now. Something still seems out of whack with the readings I'm getting....

I'm using the following receivers: HR22-100 and HR21-200

I'm not using the B band converters, should I be?? I doubt the LNB is bad because it's only a couple of months old. I always thought once I peaked the 101 the other sats should follow. the only thing I can think of is the dish is out of line and is reading the wrong sats. Everything would be okay if I could get the 103C signals higher. I know that's what is causing the fade. It's just weird I can't hit 110 and 119 like I used to.

Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this would greatly be appreciated. Thanks!
 
With the signals on 110 and 119 at zero, you need a re-alignment.
The tilt/skew setting is off.

Or the trees are blocking 110, and 119.

Because you get signals for 99 and 103 and the SWM, I suspect that you have a single line dish. With that, you don't use the BBCs.

Tune to chs 480-483 and 490-494. These verify the various sats reception.
 
Can't get test channels 492, 493, and 494. I thought the same about the skew and tried readjusting with no luck.

It's weird I seem to be getting all the channels, but with very low reception on the HD's. Would getting 110 and 119 increase the signal strength on 103?

I guess the trees are now blocking. :(
 
With the dish I think you have, you won't get anything on test channels 492-494!
Those channels test the 110 and 119 sat reception.
Please verify which dish you have?

Do you get your locals from DirecTV?
 
I'm using the Slimline HD 5lnb KA/KU. It should be the newest one out. Let me know if you need something else to identify it!

If you have the 5LNB and no signals on 110 or 119, then you have blockage. If you don't need 110 or 119, I'd suggest you replace the 5LNB with the 3LNB to get just 99, 101, and 103.
 
How do you get a 95 on transponder 4, 97 on 12 on sat 101?
Obviously, he's within the footprint of those spot beams. Some of the other spots are also high!

The spot beams on 101 are 4, 12, 18, 20, 26, and 28. Check yours and some of those will be high for you.

Only spotbeam i get on my 101 is about 20-25 on #4 at night. the rest are 0
 
Because spot beams do overlap, moreso in different parts of the country, you can see readings for spots that don't service your DMA. I only have one spot that registers 0 the rest are all over the place.

How are the other TPs for you?
