I have a perfect patch of open sky for Dish Network with Multi-LNB. The only thing in the way is the neighborhood wires, running from pole to pole, about 50 feet from the proposed dish install area. It's only 4 wires spaced a minimum of 2' apart.

Will this be a problem? Are wires ever a problem?

No, I don't think the cables would be a problem. But just to be sure, I think you need to get an iPhone so you can download that dishpointer app that shows where the sats are in the sky by superimposing the image from the built in camera.

You do want to be sure before you start drilling holes or planting posts right? Tell the wife your just trying to save $ because imagine the cost of having to go back and redo! Just being practical...

invest in a tripod or other temp mount. Install the dish, hook it up and check it out. If it works well, go ahead with the perm mount.
You can always use the tripod another time or sell it to someone who owns an RV
