"Subscription streaming service Netflix has reportedly begun experimenting with showing commercials before and after videos.

Cord Cutters News reports Netflix has started testing advertisements that play both before and after videos. At the moment only certain subscribers in certain markets are receiving the ads, all of which so far have been for Netflix original programming. Essentially what they're doing at the moment is more akin to iTunes and HBO Now than it is to something like Hulu Plus."

Cash grab.....yet they haven't leaned much from Hulu Plus which has almost become unbearable to watch with all the ads...

Why you'll be paying a 'Netflix tax' soon http://finance.yahoo.com/video/why-youll-paying-netflix-tax-185417306.html
They’re calling it a ‘Cloud Tax,’ but it sounding more to consumers like a Netflix tax. As more consumers turn to streaming video on services like Netflix and Hulu, and music on Spotify, states are looking fill the taxes lost on the sale of tangible media goods.
