Gouge ...
It costs netflix more money to stream out bandwidth eating 4k content. Netflix was already forced to pay the isp's not to throttle down their service.

Also do not forget that streaming or any type of paid for tv service is a luxury service. So I feel no sympathy/empathy for anyone that complains about the price of a luxury product or service.

Gouge ...
Isn't 4K triple the bandwidth? And I presume getting the rights to 4k sources is more expensive. $3 a month more doesn't seem unreasonable. In fact, it'd be one of the only services that offers "4K".

If they get enough content in 4K then the price will be justified.

I believe you will be grandfathered in if you already stream 4k from Netfix.
Your rate increase will then go into affect in 2016.
