New 622 question

I just had my 622 hooked up yesterday, and I have a question.

In the upper left, when I change channels or start viewing a recording, it shows "Normal" below the Dual Mode indicator.

I thought at first it might indicate SD, but it does it on HD channels too.

It is displaying the apsect ratio chosen for the output. Press the * button on the remore to toggle through your options.

Thanks. (Sorry about posting in wrong topic).

I had done a search, but after I posted the question I ran across the answer while browsing HD topics. They had just mispelled Normal, so the search didn't find it.
