My local area is reportedly going to go EA (Lawton/Wichita Falls). The HD locals are apparently not turned on yet.
Taking into account that they will apparently be on the 61.5 satellite, and they aren't going to upgrade existing customers at this time to EA, I guess I have 2 options.
If they turn on HD locals in the next few months, I schedule a wing 61.5 dish.
Or, possibly, just wait until next year when they may give the option to upgrade to the EA and 1000.4 dish.
Does anyone have any idea whether, if I just wait until next spring (if they get enough EA compatible equipment) they will allow either? I would obviously need something done to get access to the 61.5 satellite.
I already have the new smartcard, since my 622 dies last month and the refurbished 622 came with the appropriate smartcard already inserted in the slot.
