Hello....

I'm the newest newbe, live way out away from modern day civilization and am interested in playing with some of this gadgetry.
I'm not a computer whiz but not a dummy either. I'm interested in
recieving feedback as to which sat. receivers perform best, are easiest to operate and which units are sorta mainsteam.

I've learned that some other countries signals are able to be tested legally. Any imput on this?

If by tested you mean FREE, be careful, that is illegal and not allowed here.
