A friend of mine just purchased a model 6000 HD receiver and wants to start HD programming. He currently has a Superdish 105 w/ the DP34 switch. What and how would he need to add the 61.5 sat programming. Would it be just pointing another dish to the 61.5 satellite and adding a DP21 switch? If so, how would you configure the two switches?

Thanks,
Nick

So if I understand correctly, the three input from the Superdish (110,119 and 105) would go into the DP34 switch as normal. Then 1 line from the output would then go into a DP21 along with the added line from the 61.5 satellite then it would go into the receiver (along with the Dishpro adapter).

Thanks,
Nick

Yes, DP21 hooked to an OUTPUT of the DP34 and to a DISHPRO LNB aimed at 61.5.

You might consider swapping the DP34 with a DPP44 to avoid the expense of the DP Adapter & DP21. Shop around and check the cost difference between byuying a DP21 plus DPAdapter vs. buying a DPP44 and selling the DP34.

does 811 work as OTA tuner when no longer a subscriber?
