New Hopper Install ?

Just completed getting my new Hopper Installed and all went well...... but I have a question.

I have tried to take the External Hard drive from 211K and transfer the recordings from the 211K Hard drive to my new Hopper.......but for some reason the Hardrive is not being found by the Hopper? I plug the USB cable into the Hopper and have the Hardrive powered up but it's not showing up on the Hopper?

I tried rebooting the Hopper.....but no joy...

I did notice that my 211K was removed from my Dish account...... not sure if that has anything to do with it.....or do I need to wait awhile for the hardrive to be recognized by the Hopper?

Any ideas?

Won't work. The 211 used a different formatting system to make it work as a dvr.

The EHD used with a 211 is not compatible with the Hopper. It will only work with another 211 unless its formatted by the Hopper.
