I have been reading Most of thread on this forum during last week thinking to buy the needed equipment for beginners on FTA.
Can somebody write me a list of the necessary equipment and cheaper providers in the market (ensuring that are not clone equipment)
I'm thinking in VIEWSAT Platinum or PANSAT 3500SD but still not decided.
Thanks :hatsoff:

You will need at least a 30" dish for Ku FTA signals. A receiver of course. A Ku LNBF. and RG6 coax and fittings(ends)
You may want to get a motorized system if you want to see more than one satellite.

Grounding the system is also very important so add a ground block to the above.

Please have a look at our sponsors at the top of the page, where you will find some of their package deals !

Welcome to the sport/hobby ;) What I've learned the hard way is "Don't buy cheapo stuff, you'll spend more in the long run"
