New prices for dnet receivers ?

I just found out dishnet reduced the prices for all receivers.
For those of us who rather own.

Do somebody has information on the details/dates of this change ?

I'd never buy a STB from Dish anyway. They are the most expensive people on the planet. I've bought from Claude, and from ebay, and always got a good deal.

Pretty much everything is $119, for the exception of a 612 which is $269 and a 722K which is $319 and a 922 which is $539.

For $119, you can get a 322, 222, 211 or 625

Well if you want a 211 Dish could charge you $100 to come out and install it for you and probably want a 2 year commitment. If you put it in yourself you might get $50 + commitment. Or you could buy one for $19 more and get no commitment and be able to sell the box on ebay, probably recoup your $19.

I have a 211 coming from Dish to upgrade my remaining 311.
$15 shipping + commitment. Works for me.

I still see no major benefit. At least when it is leased Dish will replace it for you if it goes bad.

and when you cancel if its a newer receiver you can sell it
