I agree with whatchel1 about poor forum placement.

You didn't hear about the Replay TV product that bowed earlier this year?

The $100/year thing kinda bites the big one; especially if it is OTA only.

Use a public-domain recording program, don't support Tivo.

I am shocked that Nero would be a party to such an outrageous selling price. Considering you can do basic recording functions using the bundled app that come with most any ATSC tuner, I can't imagine who would be stupid enough to pay $99/yr just to add Tivo functions. Have they lost their minds?

Um.... can you say XBMC or MythTV? Why pay for it when you can add it to an aptly equipped PC for free?

There are many prior art DVR applications on the PC. Would be nice if some of the commercial ones could step forward and sue Tivo.
