New to HDTV

I just bought everything I thought I needed to recieve DirecTv HD. But now I'm to understand that if I want to receive my locals in HD, I need a new 5 LNB dish How and where (for a good price) does a exsisting DirecTv subscriber find the dish by itself and not with a package deal ?? What price do they usually sell for ?? Thanks Guys.

locals in HD are not available everywhere.What is your zip code? If you want the 5lnb dish upgrade call directv and they will charge you at most $99. Sometimes you can get it free or for 49.

I'm suppose to be able to get them. I'm at 22842 and already get the locals from Wash. D.C. I can't get but maybe one viewable channel with OTA ant.
